May 2: Saratoga Rotary Art Show

This year is the 53rd annual art show and wine tasting. Located on the beautiful grounds of West Valley College, you will find the displays of artists who work with paint, clay, wood, glass, metal and more. Local wineries offer tastings and there is food and fun for everyone.  This show is a fundraiser for the Saratoga Rotary Charitable Foundation.  According to their website, they have "returned over $2 million to local non-profits through its grant program. You might call this the Art Show with a heart."

September 11-12: Capitola Art and Wine Festival

The Capitola Art & Wine Festival will be September 11th and 12th on the esplanade in Capitola Village. The Art & Wine festival runs both days from 10:00am to 6:00pm. There will be at least 17 wineries and 150 artists. Music will be on the main stage along with several dance performances. A free shuttle will be provided to alleviate parking hassles, with stops at the Capitola Mall on 41st Avenue and the Crossroads Center on Bay Avenue. I hope to see you there!

October 2-3 & 9-10: Open Studios

For the 25th year, the Cultural Council of Santa Cruz is sponsoring the Open Studios Tour the first three weekends in October. I will have my home studio open on the first and second weekends, October 2-3 and 9-10. Please visit us to see my latest paintings and to enjoy some great food. 10:00am - 6:00pm.
